Kids & Family Yoga
““If every eight year old was taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world in one generation.”
”
““Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.””
Kids Yoga isn't just cute - it's meaningful.
Everyone has breath and anyone can be empowered to use it - no matter what your age! I strive to teach children to take up space and to share it; to honor their uniqueness and to unite as one; to move with unabashed joy and to be still. During class, each activity aims to nurture a child's creativity, sense of self, and sense of community. It is especially powerful when parents practice with their children. There is something magical about being silly, being present, and being yourself with a child.
