Kids & Family Yoga

  • Tosa PT & Wellness 9126 W North Ave, Wauwatosa, WI 53226 United States (map)

Come breathe, move, and play with us as a family at Tosa PT & Wellness on select Mondays at 9-9:45am. Check full schedule for specific days.

It is such a gift to make space for children and families to indulge in the joy of just being together. It doesn’t matter if a kiddo’s downdog looks like a pancake or a squished triangle. Are they moving their bodies joyfully? Success! Are they learning how to use their breath as a tool? Beautiful! There is nothing for kids to achieve during a yoga class beyond feeling good in their bodies and connected to the other humans in the room.

This class is designed for 2-5 years olds; however, younger and older siblings are welcome to join! It’s ideal for kids who are walking and talking. Kiddos must attend with an adult (but are more than welcome to come with additional grown-ups). In the past, I’ve had parents, aunts, and/or grandparents join in the fun. If you’re in the space, you’re doing the yoga with us! The heart of the class is yoga freeze dance. We dance, wiggle, and move —- then, freeze into a yoga pose. Warm up and cool down activities are all designed to support gross motor skills, breath control, and relaxation/bonding opportunities for kids and families. We recommend BYO-mat, but if you forget we have a few.

Cost: $15/per kiddo (adults are FREE)
